Retail Sales Associate

At Home Hardware, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team. As a Retail Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide advice on merchandise.
- Sales Transactions: Process cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments, and prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts.
- Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, and maintain sales records for inventory control.
- Merchandise Preparation: Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, and ensure a clean and organized store environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work Environment: Retail store environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
- Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Ability to be reliable and dependable in meeting commitments and deadlines.
