Job Title: Executive Director, External Partnerships

Position Overview:

The Executive Director, External Partnerships will report directly to the President & CEO. This role is responsible for leading and overseeing NAIT's fundraising and development efforts, as well as alumni engagement, marketing, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Lead fundraising initiatives across various channels, including corporate partnerships and community engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, alumni, and industry partners
  • Collaborate with the Board of Governors in fundraising activities and strategic planning
  • Oversee a team of 80 members and manage an operating budget of $15 million, ensuring effective financial management and resource allocation
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with other organizations, driving business growth and development
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote NAIT's brand and initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant leadership experience in fund development and business partnerships
  • Track record of success in leading diverse teams and driving business growth
  • Experience in alumni relations, fundraising, events, marketing, and communications, with a focus on strategic planning and execution
  • Relevant academic preparation and certifications, such as the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation
