About the Role

Candroid Robotics Corporation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our design and development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our mechanical installations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Assist in the preparation of design, drawings, and specifications for mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure the successful execution of projects, including the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials for projects, and prepare schedules and standards for mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications, and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD), excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
