Job Title: Plumber

Jagir Contracting Inc is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Plumber to work on various plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Work Environment:

The Plumber will work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings. The job requires physical stamina, as the Plumber will be required to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
