Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Elk Point Cafe & Business Centre Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail business, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team of sales staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the retail store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance.
    • Ensure that the store is always well-stocked, visually appealing, and meets the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive a warm and welcoming experience, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching, helping team members to improve their performance and achieve their goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and reliable
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Flexibility and adaptability
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
