At OV Burger Bar, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Captain to join our team. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of servers and bussers to provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth dining experience.
  • Manage the front-of-house operations, including seating, ordering, and serving food and beverages.
  • Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Train staff on menu items, wine selection, and customer service skills.
  • Balance cash and record sales.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Supervise other servers and bussing staff.
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Provide customer service and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
