About this Role

We are seeking a highly organized and attentive Project Coordinator to join our Projects team in Burnaby, BC. The successful candidate will assist project managers with administrative tasks, organize and track shop drawings, and update project data.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to project managers, including job binders, paper flow system setup, permits, manuals, and tender forms.
  • Organize and distribute shop drawings as needed.
  • Update project data and systems with information from project managers.
  • Ensure project drawings, purchase orders, and job schedules are up-to-date.
  • Process extra work orders, including pricing, extending, confirming hours submitted, and data entry.
  • Verify site specifications, drawings, shop drawings, change orders, and schedules.
  • Track shipments, backorders, and suppliers for material delivery.
  • Attend site meetings and walks to record and produce minutes.
  • Print and circulate project reports.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A High School Diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, or an office-related position within construction or a related field.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, with experience in AutoCAD, Accubid, MS Project an asset.
  • Experience managing document control, file management, scheduling, data entry, and minute-taking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and English communication skills.
  • Ability to read electrical and/or construction drawings (an asset).
  • Electrical engineering degree, diploma, relevant education, or Electrician TQ (an asset).
