As an Environmental Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field work related to asbestos and designated substance surveys, daily air monitoring, mould investigations, and indoor air quality assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field work related to asbestos and designated substance surveys, daily air monitoring, mould investigations, and indoor air quality assessments.
  • Sample and collect field data, including interviewing third parties, compiling field notes and photographs.
  • Prepare technical reports and present findings to project managers.
  • Travel locally within Eastern Ontario, with a vehicle being mandatory.

Requirements:

  • College or University Degree in an Environmental field.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License Required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Ability to work well with others to meet a common goal.
  • AutoCAD / ARC GIS an asset.
  • Willingness to travel locally and conduct fieldwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills.
  • Ability to write and speak English required, with French being an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Environmental Field Work (Asbestos, Mould, Air Quality).

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Monday to Friday schedule, with on-call and weekend work as needed.
  • Overtime pay available.
