Job Responsibilities
- Installation and troubleshooting of electrical components in multi-family residential, commercial, and institutional structures
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Following safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment as required
- Providing excellent customer service and presenting a positive attitude
- Testing and measurement using electrical meters and equipment
- Leading and instructing apprentices
- Ensuring punctuality and reliability on worksites
- Understanding and adhering to Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures
Requirements
- Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Valid Class B FSR (if applicable)
- Extensive knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)
- Commercial and residential construction experience required
- Experience in other electrical fields is an asset
- Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
- Valid Class 5 driver's license (if applicable)
- Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
