Job Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot electrical components in commercial and residential structures
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Follow safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment as required
• Provide excellent customer service and present a positive attitude
• Test and measure electrical systems using multi-meters and other equipment
• Lead and instruct apprentices in electrical work
• Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Stay up-to-date with Arc Flash and Lock-out/Tag-out procedures

Requirements

• Red-Seal Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• Valid Class B FSR (if applicable)
• Extensive knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
• Commercial and residential construction experience required
• Additional electrical experience an asset
• Basic hand tools and cordless power tools
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (if applicable)
• Willingness to work out of town, longer shifts, and/or evening shifts
