About the Role
SynergyAspen Environmental is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing environmental site assessment and remediation projects across BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Client communication and relationship management
- Prepare work plans and cost estimates
- Manage remediation and reclamation environmental field work programs
- Assist in the preparation and execution of proposals
- Mentor and train staff; ensure work is done safely and correctly
- Manage, review and sign-off on technical reports
- Liaise with regulators, contractors and other third parties
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients
- Maintain billable targets as set by CEO / COO
- Undertake occasional travel to Calgary, Fort St. John, Port Moody, or other destinations as needed
- Provide excellent levels of service to our internal and external clients
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant contaminated sites/reclamation/natural sciences experience in environmental consulting in BC, with 5+ years of project management experience
- Technical diploma or degree in a related discipline
- Possesses a recognized accredited professional designation (e.g., P.Eng, P.Geo, P.Chem, P.Ag. etc.) recognized in BC, or the ability to acquire one
- Experience in contaminated sites, with extensive knowledge of BCER Regulations
- Experience in managing technically complex projects, working with a dynamic team, and overseeing cost controls
- Energy, intelligence, and integrity. Your drive for exceptional client experience is relentless
- Experience managing and working with a multi-disciplinary team
- Reliable attention to details that matter most, accuracy driven, and professional organizational skills
- Excellent communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety
