Job Description

TV2 Consulting is seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team. As a Test Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Case Execution
    • Execute test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects.
    • Log test results and report findings to the development team.
  • Defect Management
    • Identify and document defects found during testing using bug tracking systems.
    • Collaborate with the development team to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes.
  • Business Requirement Understanding
    • Review Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test case coverage.
    • Translate business requirements into test cases to ensure accurate testing.
  • Test Suite Maintenance
    • Create and maintain a regression test suite for each production cycle.
    • Update test cases to reflect software changes and ensure continued test coverage.
  • Testing Tools
    • Identify and effectively utilize relevant testing tools during test execution.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
  • End-to-End Testing
    • Assist in end-to-end testing of software applications to ensure seamless integration.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve testing issues.
Requirements
  • Test Execution and Reporting
    • Proficiency in executing test cases and reporting results.
    • Experience with bug tracking systems for documenting defects.
  • Business Requirement Understanding
    • Ability to read and understand BRDs and translate requirements into test cases.
    • Knowledge of maintaining traceability matrices.
  • Test Suite Maintenance
    • Expertise in creating and maintaining regression test suites.
    • Familiarity with various testing tools and their effective application.
  • Communication and Documentation
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to update test cases in line with software changes.
    • Good communication and documentation skills.
