About the Role

Hootsuite is seeking a seasoned executive to lead our Alliances & Strategic Partnerships team. As Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for identifying, managing, and expanding key strategic partnerships and alliances globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy: Provide executive leadership to the team responsible for the growth and management of Hootsuite's relationships with major social network partners, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and other social networks used by Hootsuite's customers.
  • Revenue Growth: Manage and build revenue associated with our partners, develop revenue targets, manage pipeline, and forecast in collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Team Management: Manage, recruit, and retain a strong cross-functional team chartered to deliver a best-in-class experience for our key partners, including selection, coaching, mentoring, development, performance management, and all other people-management practices.
  • Partnership Development: Provide a framework and direction to the team when designing partnership plans, joint roadmaps, and commercial agreements with our Alliances partners.
  • Process Improvement: Provide leadership and frameworks in building and refining scalable processes, models to manage Alliances strategy and drive efficiency, effectiveness, and collaboration with other teams.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead and oversee complex contract negotiations, working with legal counsel as required.
  • Product Development: Oversee the product management & development of proprietary apps by 3rd Parties, including those built by customers, developers, system integrators, and other partners.
  • Developer Community: Create conditions to attract and foster a community of developers that build on the Hootsuite platform.
Requirements
  • Senior Partnership Experience: Extensive senior partnership and/or product experience, preferably in high-growth and fast-paced B2B SaaS environments.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Experience building strategic partnerships, working with APIs, executing commercial agreements, and recruiting new partners at scale.
  • Leadership Skills: Commitment to Results: consistently achieves results, demonstrating high performance, and challenging self and others to deliver results.
