Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted treatment plans
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-quality care and promote optimal outcomes
  • Prioritize communication and documentation, ensuring seamless transitions between team members and stakeholders
  • Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance client care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
  • Current registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including those with complex needs and diagnoses
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other software applications used in clinical settings
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
