About Port Hill Farm Inc

We are a dynamic and growing farm located in a rural area, seeking a reliable and skilled Farm Laborer to join our team. As a Farm Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our farm, working closely with our experienced team to maintain the health and well-being of our animals and crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
  • Handle and care for animals, including goats and cows
  • Milk goats and cows by hand or using machines
  • Monitor animal health and perform general farm duties
  • Feed and tend to animals, ensuring their nutritional needs are met
  • Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
  • Experience in farm work is an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and work in a variety of weather conditions
