Job Title: Human Resources Administrator

Delmar International Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to our Ontario and BC regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, coordinate onboarding processes, and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance to managers on performance improvement and progressive discipline, up to and including employee terminations.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and legislation.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Manage HR-related reporting, including WSIB, Critical Injury, and Workplace Accommodation requests.
  • Health and Safety: Coordinate JHSC inspections, facilitate meetings, and ensure all health and safety issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist, with warehouse environment experience an asset.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and resume database management tools.
  • Available to travel to the Head Office in Montreal when needed.
  • Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) certification is considered an asset.
