Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Diamond Construction Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Utilize precision tools to measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Build and Install Structures: Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the stability and integrity of our projects.
- Fit and Install Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the finishing touches of our construction projects.
- Supervise and Mentor: Supervise and mentor other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain and Renovate: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Work Term: Permanent position
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
