Job Description
You'll be responsible for uncovering the full financial needs of our members, providing solutions, and referring them to our financial advisors. You'll also support and facilitate the financial planning experience for our members, fostering an environment of professional growth and development in a fun, positive, and productive way. Your responsibilities will include:
- Uncovering the full financial needs of our members and providing solutions or referrals to our financial advisors.
- Supporting and facilitating the financial planning experience for our members.
- Being proactive in pursuing external and internal business opportunities, including retention of existing member bases and actively soliciting new business.
- Establishing and implementing sales plans that focus on retaining and attracting new members with mid-to-high net worth, developing internal referral sources, centers of influence, improving profitability with existing members, and developing business from existing members.
- Identifying staff developmental opportunities and providing effective coaching and technical training.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to assist members of your team with skill development.
- Ensuring all corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines are adhered to, including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements to mitigate the risk of loss to the credit union and its members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you'll need at least 5 years of financial advisory sales experience, along with thorough knowledge of financial planning, products, policies, procedures, and operations. You should also hold a post-secondary diploma or degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and possess an MFDA license.
