Description

At Galderma, we are seeking a skilled Packaging Technician to join our team. As a key member of our packaging department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and introduction of new packaging components and ensuring the quality of our products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Update, organize, and maintain packaging documentation and databases.
  • Review and approve PCMFs for new product introductions and modifications.
  • Participate in the transfer of technical projects from R&D to manufacturing.
  • Provide technical support for packaging-related issues and compatibility with our equipment.
  • Coordinate and participate in online testing to ensure packaging components function correctly on production lines.
  • Perform measurements on packaging components using various equipment.
  • Prepare reports summarizing data and drawing conclusions based on results.
  • Assist in detecting and identifying defective and non-conforming packaging components.
  • Support feasibility studies for new packaging articles in collaboration with packaging specialists, procurement services, suppliers, and technical management.
  • Support various factory projects, such as double-sourcing packaging components, double-stacking pallets, and net content management.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in a relevant field.
  • 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food industry.
  • Good knowledge of packaging materials.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of laboratory work is an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of computer systems (primarily Windows Office).
