Diesel Engine Mechanic Job Description

ORCA Global Express Ltd. is seeking a skilled Diesel Engine Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and inspecting equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, diagnosing issues using computerized testing equipment, and performing repairs and maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
  • Perform repairs and maintenance work on heavy trucks and equipment
  • Keep maintenance reports and documentation
  • Test repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work
  • Service attachments and working tools
  • Verify and repair emission control systems
  • Assist process and machine operators in mineral ore and metal processing
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment:
  • Dusty
  • Noisy
