Job Summary:

Algoma Steel Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright to join our team in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. As a leading manufacturer of hot and cold rolled steel sheet and plate products, we are committed to delivering quality steel products to our customers and improving the quality of life for our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have a Mechanical Maintenance Technician/Technologist diploma with a minimum 3 years Trade experience in a related industrial environment and/or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) Red Seal.
  • A 4-position CWB Welding certificate would be an asset.
  • Must have an understanding of all tools and equipment utilized in the trade and all related safety practices relative to the trade.
  • Must have a minimum of Grade 12 education.
  • Successful applicants must be able and willing to work on a rotating shift schedule.
