About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and physically capable individual to join our team at I & N Janitorial Services Ltd. as a Janitorial Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Window and Surface Cleaning: Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Minor Repairs: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Moving and Handling: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Environment: Work with minimal supervision and be able to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physical Demands: The role requires handling heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Work Hours: The successful candidate will work 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: The primary language of work is English.
