About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and physically capable individual to join our team at I & N Janitorial Services Ltd. as a Janitorial Assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse, and empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Heavy Lifting and Moving: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handling heavy loads and performing physically demanding tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 32 to 40 hours per week.
