Job Summary

Maison Riviera is a leading agri-food company with a rich history of delivering high-quality dairy products. We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Laboratory
    • Ensure compliance with control plans, monitoring plans, analysis methods, and good laboratory practices.
    • Develop the skills and autonomy of laboratory technicians.
    • Plan and implement changes in the laboratory and in the factory.
    • Manage contracts with external laboratories and suppliers of services, equipment, and consumables.
    • Manage the laboratory budget while maintaining cost optimization as an objective.
  • Factory Quality
    • Contribute to the search for causes and corrective actions in partnership with the quality and industrial team.
    • Implement and monitor relevant indicators to promote quality among production, maintenance, and technical teams.
    • Participate in quality improvement plans as support to the production teams and the quality director.
  • Complaints and Deviations
    • Investigate customer complaints and initiate requests for corrective action when necessary.
    • Determine actions to be taken following laboratory deviations.
    • Participate in SQF and Canadian agency audits as a laboratory quality control referent.
    Requirements
    • DEC in food processing or equivalent experience.
    • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
