Avalon Translink is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers and ensuring the smooth operation of equipment. Your duties will include training workers in duties and policies, preparing and submitting reports, and resolving work problems. You will also be responsible for coordinating activities with other work units or departments and establishing work schedules and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train workers in duties and policies
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
