Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic professional to provide guidance, support, and resources to clients in need. Your expertise in substance abuse counselling, social work, and criminology will be invaluable in helping our clients achieve recovery and reintegration into the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare reports and case histories to track client progress
- Conduct social research to identify effective intervention strategies
- Implement life skills workshops to empower clients
- Assess client needs and eligibility for specific services
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of community services
- Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention support
- Liaise with clients' families and community contacts
- Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
- Plan intervention programs to address client needs
- Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification
- Developmental services worker (DSW) Training
- Intensive behavioural intervention Certification
- Relationship development intervention (RDI) training
- CPR Certificate
