Job Summary

Vilavi Canada is seeking a skilled Drug Addiction Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community service organization, you will provide critical support to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and case histories to inform treatment plans.
  • Conduct social research to identify effective interventions and services.
  • Implement life skills workshops to empower clients in their recovery journey.
  • Assess clients' needs and eligibility for specific services, ensuring seamless referrals to community programs.
  • Develop and coordinate the delivery of services within the community, prioritizing client needs and outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention support, ensuring the well-being of clients.
  • Collaborate with clients' families and community contacts to foster a supportive network.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education and relevant experience in the field.
  • Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification and other relevant training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
