About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Executive Director, Risk and Compliance. Reporting to the Director, Internal Audit and Risk, you'll lead a team of internal auditors in planning, executing, and concluding high-quality risk-based internal audits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective internal audit strategies to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic vision and core values.
  • Lead a team of internal auditors in conducting risk-based audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for enhanced control environments.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, including external auditors, to ensure seamless collaboration and reliance on internal audit work.

As a seasoned professional with a minimum of eight years of experience in a management capacity, you possess a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a related field from an accredited university. A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation is also required.

  • A strong background in risk management, compliance, and internal audit, with expertise in SOX 404 Compliance testing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and developing high-performing individuals.
