Key Responsibilities- Concept Development: Propose innovative and creative graphic or audiovisual concepts based on client briefs, including synopses, mood boards, and sketches.
- Artistic Style Definition: Define the artistic style of graphic or audiovisual mandates inspired by the game's artistic direction, referencing films, competing games, and design documents.
- Visual Identity Communication: Ensure that the artistic vision is communicated through the visual identity, including ambiances, sets, characters, narration, and other visual elements.
- Concept Creation: Create lit and original concepts that support the game's positioning with various project teams.
- Quality Control: Communicate expectations to the production team, ensure the quality and content of produced elements, and validate finished work to ensure alignment with the initial brief and game's vision.
- Collaboration: Work directly with project directors and artists to ensure a cohesive and high-quality final product.
- Documentation: Produce documents such as GAP (Game Artistic Personality), briefs, and style guides to support the artistic direction.
- Experience: Around 10 years of experience in UI, visual design, branding, or art direction, preferably in the video game industry.
- Education: A degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Multimedia, or equivalent.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, and 3D software (e.g. 3DS Max), as well as art fundamentals and artistic culture.
- Soft Skills: Ability to give constructive feedback, convey artistic direction, and make it a shared goal, with a highly creative, collaborative, and innovative spirit.
