As a Senior Account Manager at Foodbuy, you will contribute to the development and execution of strategies that promote increased participation in purchasing programs.

  • You will be responsible for managing a complete P&L budget that includes client managed volume, total revenue, Foodbuy/Compass revenue, all overhead expenses, and PBIT for your portfolio.
  • You will interact with the vendor community to develop key relationships with top-tier vendors and represent the interests of all MDG clients within your portfolio.
  • You will drive revenue & profit growth, client retention, satisfaction, and increased participation in contracted programs while anticipating client contract renewals and handling negotiations and agreement extensions.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of professional Account Management Experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with external organization's senior executive leadership teams to influence change
  • 5+ years of significant experience in budgeting process including expense and profit management
  • 5+ years of strategic account planning
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related studies
  • Prior experience interacting, communicating, negotiating, and collaborating with executive level professionals
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset
