About the Role:This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our centre, ensuring that all food meets established standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Culinary Operations: Supervise the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes, inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Purchasing and Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, maintaining accurate inventory records to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet established standards of quality, taste, and presentation, conducting regular tastings and quality checks to identify areas for improvement.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in culinary operations management.
- A competitive salary of $$$55,000 - $60,000 per annum.
