About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team as a medication specialist. As a pharmacist at CareRx, you will be responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and safely while providing pharmaceutical patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, timely, and completely
- Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures
- Consult with the pharmacy management team on unresolved issues surrounding day-to-day work functions
- Provide exceptional customer care to CareRx Pharmacy patients and home partners
- Maintain accurate, organized, and complete resident health records
- Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations
- Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
- Participate in training and support for newly hired and existing pharmacy team members
- Participate in ongoing continuing education and stay current with pharmaceutical, medical, and professional licensing information
Requirements:
- Currently licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with other healthcare team members
- Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
- Demonstrated high level of fluency in both written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Kroll Windows application
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills
Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

Location: Across Canada
Work Environment: Our pharmacies are located in various long-term care homes, retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes
