Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, timely, and completely
  • Complete daily tasks in accordance with established workplace policies and procedures
  • Consult with the pharmacy management team on unresolved issues surrounding day-to-day work functions
  • Provide exceptional customer care to CareRx Pharmacy patients and home partners
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and complete resident health records
  • Conduct medication regimen/profile reviews and document recommendations
  • Follow all provincial and federal laws, standards, and regulations governing pharmacy practice
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
  • Participate in training and support for newly hired and existing pharmacy team members
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education and stay current with pharmaceutical, medical, and professional licensing information


Requirements:



  • Currently licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
  • Proven ability to foster strong partnerships with other healthcare team members
  • Effective organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated high level of fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of Kroll Windows application
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills


Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience

Work Environment: Our pharmacies are located in various long-term care homes, retirement homes, assisted living facilities, and group homes
