Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and driving automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products in a rural area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload goods
  • Use maps and other trip planning aids to optimize routes
  • Record trip information, including vehicle mileage and fuel costs
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads
