About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Project Manager to join our team at Golderado Contracting Corp. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading complex civil construction projects from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate with project design engineering and field personnel to ensure effective project execution.
  • Manage and control project costs, including forecasting and implementing cost control procedures.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for project personnel and develop and implement site safety programs.
  • Negotiate and administer construction contracts with contractors, ensuring maximum performance and minimizing exposure to claims and extras.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and company management.
  • Manage project turnover to operations, ensuring smooth transition and completion on schedule.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or equivalent in civil construction.
  • Strong background in civil construction projects, with experience in project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to mentor and motivate project team members.
  • Proficient in software programs such as Primavera Contract, Microsoft Projects, Excel, and Proprietary Software.
  • Able to travel, with a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
