Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate II to join our Radiation Medicine Program. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation oncology and experience in scientific research. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and advance our understanding of adaptive radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform real-time contouring for patients receiving adaptive radiation treatment with replanning
  • Utilize expert technical knowledge of relevant imaging and radiation treatment software and systems
  • Work with RMP investigators on all stages of research studies with minimal supervision
  • Project design for collaborative projects and sets research goals and objectives
  • Prepare papers for publications
  • Conduct regular reviews of relevant literature
  • Critically appraise manuscripts and proposals of investigators
  • Provide direct supervision for assigned personnel, as required

Requirements

  • At minimum, Masters Degree in Health Science or related field. PhD and/or MD preferred.
  • Extensive understanding of radiation oncology, including adaptive radiotherapy, required
  • At minimum, 7 years of related experience in oncology research
  • Advanced research knowledge and skills to perform highly complex procedures involving all phases of research, required
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience in scientific writing for publication
  • Works well with people from different disciplines and with varying levels of technical expertise
  • Demonstrated leadership capacity in a research setting
