Kitchen Manager Job Description

At Wild Wing, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Plan and coordinate the work schedules of our kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to meet the demands of our menu.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and direct the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food preparation and service.
  • Train Staff: Develop and implement training programs to ensure our staff are knowledgeable about our menu, kitchen procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Plan and manage the ordering of ingredients and supplies to meet the demands of our menu.
  • Hire Food Service Staff: Recruit and hire qualified staff to join our kitchen team.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service, ensuring it meets our high standards.
  • Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare Reports: Compile and submit reports on kitchen operations and performance.
