Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Laugh N' Learn ABC Guarderia. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school and educational institution.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns, handle and report lost and found items.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Criminal record check
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 hours per week
