About the Role:

The Junior Lifeguard position plays a vital role in providing quality leisure programs and ensuring the safety of Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. Our services are tailored to help families navigate the challenges of military life and make the most of everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and surveillance over swimmer safety
  • Model and promote safe aquatic behaviors
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Provide basic patron care

Requirements:

  • Current Bronze Cross certification
  • Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification (an asset)
  • Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
  • Experience in dealing with the public, including children
  • Experience in lifeguarding

Language Requirements:

  • French: Essential
