Aircraft Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary

AAA Canada is seeking an experienced Aircraft Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating aircraft-related activities, ensuring smooth project execution, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project progress meetings and goal monitoring to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Manage weekly meetings with clients and partners to plan and prioritize work.
  • Ensure readiness of aircraft for production activities.
  • Analyze and track project progress, prioritizing activities based on milestones and client requirements.
  • Validate work planning with production, quality, and method teams.
  • Coordinate and guarantee planning process.
  • Ensure files are complete and available (pre-filled worksheets, drawings, parts, hardware, kitting tools, operating procedures).
  • Identify and address points of work that cannot be done at the station.
  • Optimize production deadlines and resource utilization.
  • Ensure smooth project execution, meeting technical, qualitative, and financial objectives.
  • Validate accessibility for work completion.
  • Follow up on derogations and prioritize according to schedule.
  • Manage access to aircraft.
  • Guarantee transfer of information between positions.
  • Ensure safety conditions for airplane operations.
  • Perform other related duties necessary to fulfill position responsibilities.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and various trades.
  • Present regular progress reports to clients using key performance indicators.
  • Conduct reviews and feedback to ensure qualitative and quantitative indicators are satisfactory.
  • Maintain OTD KPIs, respect file closure milestones, and OQD file performance without nonconformity or return qualities.
  • Establish, maintain, and present various indicators.

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma of College Studies in Aerostructure or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of aerostructure, general mechanics, and manufacturing processes.
  • Autonomy, curiosity, organization, adaptation, and relational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information.
  • Willingness to travel according to site needs.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
