About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Videotron. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Performance Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to optimize network performance and reliability.
  • Network Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, upgrades, and repairs to ensure network uptime and performance.
  • Network Installation and Configuration: Plan, participate, and assist in the installation of new network systems and their maintenance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain accurate documentation of network projects, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Problem Resolution: Diagnose and resolve network issues, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Security Management: Implement and manage security standards for various technologies.
  • Incident Management: Track and resolve incidents, analyze problems, and implement corrective actions.
  • Configuration Management: Configure network systems according to customer requests and changes.
  • Network Monitoring and Analysis: Develop and maintain reports on network equipment and tools.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with 4-9 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Cisco IOS, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), virtual networks (VLAN, VRF), VPN, DNS, DHCP, AAA authentication, and various Cisco environments.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual (English and French) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Availability: Ability to work on-site and remotely, with flexibility to work 24/7 as needed.
