Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the performance, availability, and security of IT environments, ensuring compliance with established policies and utilizing monitoring tools effectively.
- Engage in technological initiatives as a team member or project leader, as required.
- Oversee the administration of Intune or similar systems, including Windows imaging, collections, deployments, and policy formulation.
- Participate actively in the procurement, implementation, and inventory oversight of network devices and licenses.
- Conduct regular backups and perform failover testing across various servers.
- Provide advanced support to users within a Microsoft ecosystem.
- Identify and resolve persistent issues that require specialized attention.
- Manage network access and security protocols, including user accounts, permissions, and authentication processes.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Assist in the establishment of applicable standards and processes related to security, access, confidentiality, backups, and changes.
- Contribute to the creation of dashboards that monitor network performance and quality, including outages, traffic, resource availability, and security metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a DEC in Information Technology or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on server and network administration.
- Proficient in technologies such as Windows Servers, Office 365, SCCM, Powershell, InTune, and VMWare.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure and AWS) and Linux server environments.
- Significant experience in managing multi-site IT infrastructures.
- Strong expertise in local (LAN) and wide-area (WAN) networking, along with telecommunications systems.
- Experience with network management tools and monitoring services.
- In-depth understanding of firewalls, SDWAN, Layer 3 protocols, and key networking protocols (Ethernet, MCLAG, LACP, PPP, PAgP, EIGRP, IS-IS, BGP, MP-BGP, VLAN/trunking, QoS, MPLS), as well as wireless networking technologies.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, NSE, CCIE, etc., are advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken communication.
