Job Description:

  • Promote a culture of safety and health within the team, prioritizing the well-being of all employees, subcontractors, and individuals.
  • Coordinate project functions including health & safety, environment, quality, costing, subcontractor progress, and scheduling, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Take project progress photos, measure quantities, manage utility testing, coordinate sample taking and lab testing, supporting field operations.
  • Work with foremen and superintendents to ensure accurate completion of daily crew reports for payroll and equipment time processing.
  • Analyze job costing and produce budget forecasts, providing insights to inform project decisions.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Develop, assess, and improve project management and operations in collaboration with senior staff.
  • Support Estimators with estimating, maintaining bid lists, participating in estimate reviews, and wrap-ups.
  • Assist with quantity take-offs, quote solicitation, comparative table analysis, WBS development, and estimate entry into NorLand's system.
