We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our commerce integration services team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of large-scale software systems that enable Amazon businesses to serve customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects involving multiple teams in all aspects of the software development life cycle using an agile process.
- Design and develop scalable and reliable software systems that meet the needs of our business customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
- Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets Amazon's coding standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems experience.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Amazon Digital Acceleration powers ordering, subscriptions, and device management for Prime, Amazon Video, Music, Audible, Alexa, and Kindle, amongst other digital businesses. We process billions of digital purchases every year and enable our digital businesses to grow their businesses worldwide.
