Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per annumAbout the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Advisor to join our team in Rwanda. The successful candidate will work closely with local partners to develop communication materials, support fundraising efforts, and promote gender equality and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective communication strategies to demonstrate the impact of CECI's activities
  • Design presentation templates and website content for partner organizations
  • Compile content for press releases, articles, and newsletters to raise awareness about international solidarity issues
  • Assist partner organizations in executing their fundraising strategy and provide assistance with proposal writing
  • Participate in communication activities, including fundraising events, to share your volunteering experience and raise awareness about CECI's work
Requirements:
  • Degree in communication, journalism, international relations, linguistics, literature, or related field
  • Experience in communication or a related area
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey messages effectively to diverse audiences
  • Fluency in English and/or French, knowledge of both languages is an asset
  • Flexible schedule based on your availability
  • Participation in a pre-assignment training program to learn about CECI and gain practical skills for working in international cooperation
