We are seeking a skilled Precision Engineering Specialist to join our team at Redleaf Designs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, fitting and assembling components and machine parts to close tolerance, verifying dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, setting up and operating conventional and computer controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dimensional Measurement: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts with high precision.
  • Engineering Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to ensure accurate understanding of specifications.
  • Component Assembly: Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance, ensuring precise fitment and accuracy.
  • Machining Verification: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Machine Tool Operation: Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools to produce high-quality machine parts.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, and a quick learner.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.

Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time.

  • Work Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
