Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Engineering Specialist to join our team at Redleaf Designs. In this role, you will be responsible for computing dimensions and tolerances of machine parts, reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables, and setting up and operating conventional and computer controlled machine tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts with high accuracy
  • Read and interpret complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
  • Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools, ensuring efficient and precise results
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in precision engineering or a related field is an asset. Additionally, proficiency in operating computer controlled machine tools and experience working in a fast-paced production environment would be beneficial.

About the Role

This is a permanent position offering 30-40 hours of work per week. As a Precision Engineering Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, developing your skills and contributing to the success of our team.
