Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation and Logistics Executive Leader to join our team at Pantos Logistics Canada Inc. as a General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to support the company's business objectives and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic and operational plans to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.
  • Manage the allocation of resources necessary for implementing policies and operational needs.
  • Improve employee relations and retention by planning and implementing strategies to develop leadership, including leadership training for management.
  • Facilitate management meetings and monitor operational performance and needs.
  • Represent the company in developing client relationships.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in transportation and logistics in a middle manager position.
  • Proven experience in management and leadership roles.
  • University degree or college diploma in business administration or other programs relevant to transportation and logistics or certification in logistics management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills at an executive level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills at all levels and types of clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to plan, implement, and evaluate.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to prioritize and multi-task.
Working Conditions
  • Flexibility in travel and work schedule, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as operational needs may require.
  • English language proficiency.
