Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have excellent housekeeping skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment. As an Executive Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection prevention and control (IPAC) best practices.
  • Perform admission room, discharge, and isolation cleaning, as well as unit cleaning.
  • Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
  • Protect equipment and notify superiors on any damages, deficits, or disturbances.
  • Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
  • Check stocking levels of consumables and replace when necessary.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety rules and company practices.
  • Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of recent experience in a similar position or life experience in which similar duties were completed.
  • Proven ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations objectively.
  • Prioritization and time management skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, and reach freely, and lift 23 kilograms.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in English.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
