Position Overview:

The Senior Vice-President, Community Engagement and Chief Development Officer will report directly to the President & CEO. This position is tasked with spearheading and managing NAIT's fundraising and development strategies, alongside alumni relations, marketing, and communication efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic initiatives that align with the institution's objectives
  • Lead fundraising campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Establish and nurture relationships with donors and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Board of Governors on fundraising endeavors
  • Supervise a team of 80 professionals and oversee an operational budget of $15 million
  • Identify and foster strategic alliances with external organizations
  • Ensure sound financial oversight of all activities
  • Direct marketing and communication strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Extensive leadership experience in fundraising and development
  • Proven success in managing diverse teams
  • Background in alumni relations, fundraising, events, marketing, and communications
  • Relevant educational qualifications
  • Possession of a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation is highly advantageous
