About the RoleThis dynamic and fast-paced environment requires a highly organized and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. As a Community Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for caring for client needs, managing your schedule effectively, and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Care for clients in their homes or community settings, utilizing wound care management expertise and knowledge of IV antibiotic administration, IV Cannulation, Chemo disconnects, CVAD care, and PORT-A-CATH care access/de-access.
- Report and coordinate with the HCCSS (LHIN) as required.
- Create reports and updates on clients, manage supplies, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues, demonstrating exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum two years' experience in community, home-based, or visiting nurse-related roles.
- Current certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the CNO.
- Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C) certification.
- Ability to commit to alternating weekends and travel between clients.
- A competitive estimated salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
